Fypon joins MMPA

ARCHBOLD, OHIO – Fypon, a leader in the synthetic millwork industry, has joined the newly-renamed Moulding & Millwork Producers Association (MMPA). Previously known as the Wood Moulding & Millwork Producers Association (WMMPA), the organization has dropped the word “wood” from its title to be more inclusive of synthetic millwork companies in the industry.

“We’re truly excited to have Fypon join our association,” says Kellie Schroeder, CEO and executive vice president of MMPA. “One of the chief reasons we recently renamed our organization was so that we could offer more membership options to manufacturers of urethane and PVC millwork products. Fypon is obviously a lead player in this arena of synthetic millwork products and we’re looking forward to their active participation in our organization.”

MMPA works to promote quality products produced by its members, develop sources of supply and promote optimum use of raw materials. The association works to increase the domestic and foreign usage of moulding and millwork products.

Fypon, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2009, offers thousands of decorative millwork elements in a variety of architectural styles to enhance the interior and exterior of America’s homes. Each piece is crafted from tough, weather-proof, high-performance materials that are impervious to decay, insect infestation and water damage for long-lasting beauty and low maintenance.

Fypon manufactures both urethane and PVC products and has been recognized with many industry awards for superior products in both categories.
