The objective of this master suite was to create two separate areas: one for sleeping and the other for relaxing and watching television. The challenge for this design was creating both spaciousness and privacy. Phil Kean Designs in Winter Park, Fla., chose a solution that divides the space into two rooms with a two-sided fireplace. The private space became the sleeping area. The lounging area can be increased by opening to the lanai via automated pocketing glass doors. The space can be closed off from the lanai with the automated blackout drapes for privacy. It also boasts a built-in bar.
