After reviewing hundreds of entries to to Residential Design & Build's 2007 Excellence Awards, our panel of judges had chosen a worthy
crop of creative and diverse custom homes, specialty rooms, design
elements and other projects as winners of this year's competition.
Winners rose to the top in some categories, and in others ties had
to be broken.
Judges on this year's panel included Tom Stephani, GMB, MIRM, MCSP,
CAPS and president, Custom Construction Concepts; John Anstadt,
AIA, managing principal, Orren Pickell Design Group; and
Mark Perlman, owner/president, Empeco Custom Builders.
