Today President Obama is going to sign the Stimulus Package into law while visiting the Denver Museum of Science and Industry. It is no secret that President Obama has the goal of creating green jobs while he’s president. President Obama also notes that this stimulus package will create half a million of those green jobs. I can only wonder if this push for green energy will make energy efficient products more mainstream.

While visiting the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, President Obama and Vice President Biden will tour its solar panel project. This is definitely a good PR move for solar technology but will it make it more mainstream? Despite the huge push to be green from every crook and cranny in the U.S., solar energy has yet to make it to Main Street. So will President Obama be successful at putting green in the front of our minds? Will homeowners soon ask for the green products first?
